Temporary Treasurer
The Town of Bernardston is seeking a part-time Treasurer on a temporary basis (approximately 10 to 15 hours per week). Anticipated hourly rate of pay is between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour depending upon experience. Duties include receipt, expenditure and custody of all municipal funds, payroll, administration of employee benefits and withholdings, processing accounts, pay checks, debt service management, managing tax title accounts and preparing internal and external reports as required. Accounting, treasurer or municipal experience preferred with knowledge of municipal finance status and regulations; must be bondable.
