DISTRICT TREASURER ~ PART-TIME POSITION
The Triton Regional School District is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the
position of District Treasurer. This position, which reports to the Regional School Committee, is
responsible for: cash management, revenue collection, managing district’s debt service, bond
issuance, and balancing cash on a monthly basis.
The qualified candidate must possess, at a minimum: a Bachelors Degree in Accounting,
5 years experience in municipal finance or 5 years experience in private sector accounting in a
management role and superior customer relations skills.
Preferred qualifications include: MCTA Certification, knowledge of DOR rules and regulations,
understanding of Regional and Municipal Finance, and a Masters Degree in Finance or
Accounting.
